Aren’t they lucky? Isn’t she talented? Aren’t they amazing? This is what those who did not pay the price say. Have you ever been the person saying that? I know I have. It hurts, a lot! Especially when you see others, just like you who paid the price of admission when the time came. Are you ready to pay the price of admission? Do you know what it is? Here’s a hint. If you are going through hell keep going. Winston Churchill
In today’s world it seems that many of us are facing incredible challenges that not only have we not prepared for, but that we would have never expected. It is times like these that we have to stay focused on our vision, on what we ultimately want. In other words just keep going!
Here’s another way to say it
High Quality Focus, High Intensity = High Quality Results
The key to success is demanding more from yourself than others do.
Question is, how do you do that? The same way any high performance coaching or team program would do. Give youself high and difficult to achieve goals that are well defined and measurable. Make sure it is a defined time frame with a start and stop time. For example, “I am going to research online and find 20 properties that fit my criteria in one hour from 3 to 4 PM on Monday.” Ideally this will stretch you. It is best for your improvement if you only get 15.
This means you are stretched to the max. You have learned things that you will not do next time and things you may adjust or do better the next. You need to find a way to go to the line between succss and failure and ideally make it difficult to succeed. Ironically, the more you set high goals and fail to meet them but come very close…the faster you will excel and pull away from your competition.
Nothing is over until we decide it is!
